Who would have ever thought that there would be a day such as this? Never in my wildest dreams until I lost contact with my grandson. What is happening? Am I the only one? After doing a ton of research, I realized, I am absolutely not the only one and this “phenomena” is something going on all over the country and all over the world.
Grandparent Rights Advocates National Delegation of the United States of America GRAND-USA.org. was founded by several grandmothers who were being deprived of contact with their grandchildren. GRAND-USA is a grassroots effort to bring attention to Grandparent Alienation and work within the states “to obtain legislative sponsors to introduce amendments and/or bills that will create a legal pathway to connect children with their family”.
The June 14 date was established in 2015 and was specifically chosen because it is the day before Elder Abuse Awareness Day.
Thinking of all of the Grandparents who are being deprived of seeing and loving their grandchildren, and praying for the strength and peace to carry on through this unimaginable pain.
